To
bring efficiency, reduce time lag in the conduct of examinations
and to avoid procedures that are manual in nature, detailed guidelines
were prepared in respect of computerization of work. This has facilitated
the Commission to coordinate among the working system of different
sections.
All
Data Processing work is done through "Optical Mark Reading
Computer System" and results of various examinations /
screening tests are also processed/prepared through the Computer
System.
A computerized
Application /Eligibility Form is provided to the candidates containing
essential information for judging their eligibility to apply for
a particular post/service alongwith the traditional Application
form. The Computerized Form is scanned and processed through the
OMRCS. It has eliminated-manual processing of the application forms,
which, otherwise consumes ¾ of the total time in conducting of an
examination
